The CW Hates Superman.

Updated: Jan 1, 2021

I'll be honest, Superman is my favorite superhero of all time, and with the exception of Brandon Routh's brief cameo in Crisis On Infinite Earths, The CW executives, show runners, writers and even actors seem perfectly fine making Superman a shell of his former self. Case and point, in Crisis, we see both Superman and Supergirl unloading their heat vision on a target, and moments later, Tyler Hoechlin's Man Of Steel literally falls out of the sky, while Supergirl is still blasting away. NO! This is not how you write Superman. Now, we get to look forward to a domesticated Man Of Steel with two sons and a wife. I don't know what sounds more cringe, season 1 of Batwoman, or Superman And Lois. The CW has released a new teaser for the show, but I can't seem to bring myself to watch it, because from day one, Superman has been nothing more than a jobber for Supergirl, and that's just not comic book accurate. We're talking about a man who has sneezed away galaxies. GALAXIES! Sadly, now that AT&T is running the show, I don't see any reprieve for DC material anytime soon, because serious. What does a phone company know about making quality TV and movies? Superman And Lois will git The CW on February 23rd if you're so inclined.
